Tele triage refers to symptom-based calls. Our staff performs a symptom assessment by asking detailed questions about the patient's illness or injury.  Our task is to estimate and/or rule out urgent symptoms. We use pattern recognition and other problem-solving processes to determine the urgency of your symptoms and condition. We determine if your symptoms are life-threatening, emergency, urgent, acute or non-acute. After a thorough assessment, we educate and advise our clients, and make safe, effective, and appropriate dispositions—all by telephone.
